Irving's Firecracker Celebration
JULY 3, 2010: Join the ISO in Las Colinas near the new convention center for a magical patriotic celebration unlike any other in the region. Admission is FREE. Parking is $5. Gates open at 6PM, ISO performance at 8:45PM.

AN EVENING WITH JUDY GARLAND
OCTOBER 9, 2010 8PM: Opening Night will mark the 1st of the ISO's fusion 10.11 US PREMIERE presentations entitled, An Evening with Judy Garland. This unforgettable evening will feature music of one of the most legendary and iconic female vocal entertainers in American history performed by TONY AWARD winning actress DEBBIE GRAVITTE. Guest Conductor for this epic event is MICHAEL BERKOWITZ, Musical Director to Liza Minnelli. In addition, the evening will incorporate clips from Ms. Garland’s immense body of film work and narration by a regional film critic.

COUNTERPOINT
NOVEMBER 13, 2010 8PM: COUNTERPOINT represents the 2nd of the ISO's fusion 10.11 US PREMIERE presentations, featuring the ISO in a one-of-a-kind, distinctive collaboration with the Dallas Black Dance Theatre, the region’s most distinguished contemporary dance company.

HOLLYWOOD HOLIDAY
DECEMBER 11, 2010 8PM: HOLLYWOOD HOLIDAY represents the 3rd of the ISO's US PREMIERE presentations in the course of the fusion 10.11 season. This seasonal presentation will feature wide screen projection of classic holiday film clips companioned by the most beloved holiday film score music of all time.

COUTURE MUSIC
FEBRUARY 11, 2011 8PM, CARPENTER HALL/IAC: COUTURE MUSIC will mark the 4th of the ISO's US PREMIERE presentations. This symphonic collaboration with Meadows School of the Arts at SMU will explore the historic interplay of music and fashion by combining beloved chamber orchestrations and couture apparel in a deft runway presentation. The evening will feature Joaquin Achucarro, international recording artist and distinguished Professor of Piano Performance at SMU.

FEBRUARY 12, 2011 8PM, CARUTH AUDITORIUM/SMU: COUTURE MUSIC will mark the 4th of the ISO's US PREMIERE presentations. AN EVENING WITH CHRISTINE EBERSOLE
MARCH 12, 2011 8PM: ISO PRESENTS CHRISTINE EBERSOLE. Ms. Ebersole earned the 2007 TONY AWARD for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her electrifying performances in Grey Gardens. This event will mark Ms. Ebersole's only metroplex engagement in 2011 and will feature her NY trio. The ISO will not perform.

EAST MEETS WEST
APRIL 9, 2011 8PM: EAST MEETS WEST will conclude the ISO's fusion 10.11 season with a 5th US PREMIERE presentation featuring mesmerizing Asian Acrobats in a custom choreographed presentation exclusively for the ISO.
