Meet ENVISO

What Sets ENVISO Apart

ENVISO, formerly the Irving Symphony Orchestra, is a different symphony for a different audience...a distinctive professional boutique symphony with a compelling and differentiated point of view

  • emphasizing US PREMIERE and one-of-a-kind presentations
  • individuating its musical product
  • providing fresh reasons to experience live music for a diverse musical audience.

ENVISO is noted for producing signature, multi-sensory music experiences in the region. ENVISO has been distinguished as the first professional symphony in the United States to dedicate its artistic ethos to the interdisciplinary staging of symphonic performances. This news is having artistic impact both locally and beyond North Texas. The League of American Orchestras featured the orchestra in its March/April 2010 edition of Symphony Magazine in an article entitled "More Than Meets the Ear." ENVISO is vigilant to maintain the fidelity of the world's most enduring music while staging productions in the most inventive ways imaginable.

A Different Symphony for a Different Audience

By design, ENVISO is composed predominantly of young virtuosic talent. Maestro Guzman circles himself with emerging world-class performers, thus the average age of the ENVISO musician is 35. While Carpenter Performance Hall at the Irving Arts Center serves as the orchestra's home, ENVISO also executes productions in Dallas and at additional locations in North Texas.
