What You Can Expect

The Irving Symphony is a different symphony for a different audience. We believe great music should be the benefit of every person, and seek to make each performance guest feel special. At an Irving Symphony performance you can expect to see a wide cross-section of event patrons from every walk of life. We are building an audience as diverse as the region we serve.

Attire

Dress is a matter of personal comfort and taste and therefore attire at an ISO performance is varied. Many feel comfortable in coat and tie. Others dress more informally. No matter what your choice, you will be made to feel welcome.

Applause

If you are attending an ISO performance but are unfamiliar with the music being performed, knowing when to applaud can be confusing. Relax. You need not be educated about what you are hearing. Feel comfortable expressing your appreciation when it feels natural.
